This month, we're highlighting a wave of high-tech successes from Sunshine Coast businesses.
First off, Kudos to RAIDER Targetry for its recent win at the Defence Connect Australian Defence Industry Awards.
RAIDER Targetry supports the defence sector with testing, evaluation and live fire training and was named 'SME of the Year' for its cutting-edge technology including autonomous systems, robotics and advanced engineering.
Then there's the new tech-kid expected on the Sunshine Coast block: a proposed digital creative centre called 'NEO'.
NEO will be an immersive reality precinct, designed to attract world leading technology and companies at the forefront of XR and Generative AI.
But wait, there's more! The University of the Sunshine Coast is spearheading a 'Space to Sea' accelerator project to use geospatial intelligence in investigating complex challenges like population growth or changeable weather and coming up with solutions.
The Space to Sea project will leverage advanced technologies like satellites, AI and drones as well as the opportunities coming out of high speed data through Sunshine Coast's International Submarine Cable Network.
I hope you enjoy catching up on news about the Sunshine Coast's business and investment landscape.
