Hi there

Some big news for the Sunshine Coast this month, with global professional services titan Genpact choosing the region for its Australian HQ.

This is not just a big win, it's a monumental boost for the Sunshine Coast economy, with a forecast benefit upwards of $150 million.

Over the next five years, Genpact is expected to create approximately 250 new local jobs in finance, insurance, IT and administration.

Genpact's commitment to climate sustainability aligns seamlessly with the Sunshine Coast's status as a UNESCO Biosphere, which is a unique value proposition attractive to investors focused on sustainable growth.

Genpact's decision to locate on the Sunshine Coast is a strong validation of the region's robust knowledge and professional services industry and entrepreneurial ecosystem.

The move also highlights the region's advanced data infrastructure, such as the international broadband network which underscores the viability of Maroochydore's emerging city centre.

As the Sunshine Coast continues to attract global corporations and foster economic growth, now is an opportune time to consider the region as an ideal location for business establishment or expansion.

Sunshine Coast Council's Investment Attraction team provides site location assistance, connections with local businesses and assistance with navigating council requirements, amongst many other supports.
