The $925.22 million food and agribusiness industry is being strengthened by the emerging opportunities and resilience of the Sunshine Coast processing sector, which contributes an estimated $660 million and provides valuable linkages to manufacturing, education, retail and tourism.

Not to be outdone by inner-city trends, there’s a burgeoning craft beer movement on the Sunshine Coast, with boutique breweries and distilleries peppered throughout the region. 

The Sunshine Coast offers favourable sub-tropical climate, rich soils, clean water and some of the world’s highest food safety and security standards, ideal ingredients for innovators seeking investment opportunities in agribusiness and food.
