There are almost 2,000 healthcare related businesses registered on the Sunshine Coast, providing the foundation for a dynamic and fast-growing sector (ABS, 2018).

Over A$2 billion has recently been invested in healthcare infrastructure across the Sunshine Coast Health Precinct, including the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Sunshine Coast Health Institute as well as a private hospital.

Strong population growth including another 198,000 new residents expected by 2041 will drive demand for health and wellbeing services.
